Investigation Summary

Background
The location is a two bedroom home that is shared by two clients. The activity seems to be centered around the client named Chris. They report the following:

Photographs having the face scratched out of one of the clients
Books being thrown at one of the clients
Messages written on bathroom mirrors
A knife stuck into a book to about a 1/4" in depth
Furniture and pillows displaced around the room
Objects moved throughout the house
Glass shattered on the floor


Investigation
We toured the location with the clients pointing out where the activity had occurred. This allowed us to determine the best location for cameras and digital recorder placement. The two main areas that had the most activity were the master bedroom and upstairs den.

The bathroom off of the den has also had messages written on the mirror so we set up a static camera there and protected the room using a passive IR motion detector. This would prevent someone from entering the room and may indicate movement caused by the writing if there was any.

At one point during the investigation, Andy was sitting on the couch next to Chris talking when Andy felt a burning on his right forearm. Upon looking at the area with a flashlight, we discovered 3 scratches down his arm. See image.

During the investigation, Joe and Andy noticed light anomalies down the hall in the den. Some of these were captured on video. See below.


Audio
Our EVP sessions yielded a couple of EVPs. The first was when Mike asked the question, "Do you want Chris to die?" and the response was from a male answering, "No". This was recorded in the upstairs den.

The second EVP was also recorded in the den when the room was empty. We're not sure what is being said but it's the same male voice as the first EVP.

We've seen spirit boxes or Frank's boxes being used and thought it would be interesting to try one. So we tried using a spirit box for the first time and had some curious results. During the live sessions, we heard what we thought were responses to our questions but weren't sure if the "answers" were actual or coincidental.

In listening to the digital audio file from the session, there were some very interesting "responses" recorded. It would be hard to say that they are just a coincidence since an f-bomb can clearly be heard in one answer, In addition, one file clearly says, "it's just a camera" and the odds of those words being picked up over the frequency range that it had to be recorded, seems very high.

Video
Several intesting light anomalies were captured on video. I've ruled out dust due to the speed and path of the objects. Most of the video showed no anomalies, dust or otherwise. But during the spirit box session, many were observed. Is there a correlation to the recorded activity and the recorded responses? Possibly.

Conclusions
During our time spent at the home, we experienced and recorded unexplained activity. None of what was reported by the clients, although this is not uncommon due the brief time that we were there investigating. More investigations could possibly allow for this to happen.

The recorded EVPs would suggest a male presence. No threatening evidence was recorded. The scratches on Andy's arm could suggest jealousy towards Chris, but this can only be speculated.

We also measured higher than normal sustained EMF in several locations. Near the dryer in the first floor and the upstairs bedroom closet above the dryer. This is probably from the 220v electrical line for the dryer.

Another high EM field was recorded coming from the clock radio power supply that is plugged into the power strip at the bed's headboard. It's of note that these areas are also where activity was reported to have occurred.

This could possibly indicate that Chris may have a sensitivity to EMF. This is a well documented condition who's symptoms are similar to some of what you've been experiencing.

Not enough of specific evidence was recorded, so the root cause of the activity could not be determined.
